Delurking to say they've put up a couple more extracts. One about Dollhouse and an other about Caprica with a hilarious over the top interpretation of his view on the pilot.

Oh, thanks! I think I'll do a separate post for those.

I still haven't seen the Caprica pilot. I can't see it as part of the BSG universe I knew and loved either. But I can see why I still adore the man who played Lee Adama. ;)

I do love a man with a low bullshit threshhold. If he's purdy, bonus. ;)

I'm going to give Caprica a chance when it airs, but the pilot was underwhelming. I should like it more, I love most of that cast and there are a few ideas they introduced that I thought were very intriguing indeed, but...yeah, domestic's not a bad assessment. (If they deliver on what they have promised, there might be some decidedly non-domestic stuff to balance it out, but we'll see.)

I'll be giving Caprica a chance, but I remain pessimistic about it for several reasons. First and foremost, it will possibly (probably most likely) screw up continuity. Second, Ron seems uninvolved at this point. And SyFy was looking for a more accessible show which, to me, means dumbed down.

Having seen the pilot I think 'domestic' is putting it kindly, 'boring' is how I'd put it. :) He's dead on with teeny though, it was like Cylon's Creek.

::snerk::

Now you have me envisioning scenes from Caprica edited to Dawson's Creek theme song!
