Jamie Bamber's Playlist on iTunes
Grant over at battlestar_blog discovered that Jamie, Katee Sackhoff, and Michael Trucco have playlists up at iTunes. Those outside the United States aren't able to access the lists directly, but you can find some tips for doing so in the comments of Grant's post. More interesting than the song selections are some of Jamie's comments. :)

Track 1: 'Cherry Lips'' by Archie Bronson Outfit - "Brash British and sexy. Will make you strut. My mate Mark is the drummer and songwriter."

Track 2: 'Liberation' by OutKast - "For me these guys take hip-hop to a different level. Hey Ya!"

Track 3: 'Atrocities' by Antony & The Johnsons – “Michael Rymer, my Battlestar Galactica director, first played this for me. A voice so beautiful yet tortured. A fallen angel?"

Track 4: 'Songbird' by Eva Cassidy - "My wedding song..."

Track 5: 'Creep' by Radiohead - "My only karaoke performance to date, at my sister's 30th; I was "so fuckin' special... " I fell over and drowned in my own sputum."

Track 6: 'Space Oddity' by David Bowie - "Played this endlessly in my portable cassette deck that sat under the dash of my green '72 Morris Minor in 1990."

Track 7: 'All Along the Watchtower' by Bob Dylan - "Heard some Cylons humming this and can't get it out of my head..."

Track 8: 'First Breath After Coma' by Explosions In The Sky - "Was introduced to this by my friend Viva and then came 'Friday Night Lights'. Used to listen to is on endless runs along Vancouver's beaches."

Track 9: 'Love and Affection' by Joan Armatrading – “Another of my teen favorites."

Track 10: 'Suzanne' by Leonard Cohen - "Songs should be stories. I first heard this when I lived as a student in Italy. Used to fall asleep to this one..."

Track 11: 'Time Has Told Me' by Nick Drake - "When it's raining outside, light the fire and sit back into a very deep couch and be absorbed..."

Track 12: 'Under the Bridge' by Red Hot Chili Peppers - "Hey! I live in LA now."

Track 13: 'Behind Blue Eyes' by The Who - "Nobody knows what it's like..."

Track 14: 'Beautiful Day' by U2 - "Because sometimes it really is!"

OMG, I live in fear of it being revealed that the people I fangirl have really bad taste in music, and so I clicked on this with great trepidation... and was pleasantly surprised. :)

I heart the inclusion of Nick Drake.

Yay - several personal favourites in there; and songs that I used to listen to a lot a while ago... Nice to know we share tastes, Mr B.

I love "Songbird" so it's really cool that it was his wedding song. Aww. And #5, LOL

Posting this wasn't the problem, re-intsalling iTunes was the pain. I'm still old skool and buy cds. ;)

Dude, I would give my left kidney to see his performance of "Creep", especially right in the middle. That would either be freaking awesome, or awesomely freaky. :P
