Jamie Bamber to Appear on Soccer AM
It seems Jamie has returned to England. He is scheduled to appear on Sky's Soccer AM tomorrow morning at 9:00am. The show is broadcast on Sky 1 and Sky 1 Sports.

If someone could provide a recap or, better yet, an upload to YouTube, it would be much appreciated.

ETA: Thanks to hockeyvaughnfan, who found video of part of Jamie's interview as well as a partial transcript of a discussion that occurred later in the broadcast HERE.

And here's a direct link to the video.

I figured he'd be back (for a number of reasons), and seen as he doesn't live that far from the river, I wonder if he'll pop along to see the Boat Race on Sunday... :-)

I'll try and remember to watch (so long as he's on before I have to go out) and will recap as much as I can, but the YT bit will have to be done by someone else as I can't do it.. ETA: Hmmm it's on for 3 hours and the info suggest Jamie will be on later rather than sooner so I may not get to see him (nnooooooooo!)

Thanks for the heads up! This could be interesting as I've always taken him to be more of a rugby than a footy fan

Three hours??? I just assumed it was an hour talk show, not like our weekday morning shows that go on forever take up the entire morning. Well, hopefully you can catch his appearance.

no, they go on about football the whole time. have a daft goal scoring game. review the matches coming up, the ones from the week just gone. The star guest from what i remeber from the last time i saw it, i try and be out of the room when my son has it on, usually gets to try the goal scroing too along wtih footballers and fans from one team or another.

Jamie hadn't been on by the time I had to go out, but there's a vid on the program web site with some of his interview:

Here's the story (which must be in the later discussion on football as non of this appears in that vid)

Thanks! I'll update the post. My favorite part was the dig at Dirk Benedict. ;)
