The plot and players: Bernard and Gus (French actors Francois Berleand and Gerard Jugnot) are searching for a young woman, Chloe (Olivia Ruiz, in her acting debut), whom both believe to be their daughter. Bernard is rich and distant; Gus poor and prone to drink too much, but is a likable and generous man. The two, exact opposites of each other, are forced to ally themselves in their search for Chloe, a task made more difficult by the presence of Stephan (Jamie). (I'm concluding Jamie's character is named Stephan based on this casting site, which is seeking extras to play guests at the wedding of Chloe and Stephan.)
The sentimental (or romantic?) comedy - either way, WOO!, to Jamie in a comedy - is wrapping up it's first week of filming in the Dordogne region of France. Production will continue through the end of September with the film expected to be released in 2011.
The source for much of the above information I found at SudOuest.fr, along with some on set photos. No photos of Jamie and I'm uncertain if he has begun filming yet. Although, there was one interesting reference I couldn't quite make out. It seems as if one scene takes place near a river(?), where Bernard and Gus overthrow(?) a rival, which makes me envision Jamie taking a spill into the water. :)
While we await the film to be released, and in sticking with the theme of this post, here's a taste of what to expect from Jamie thanks to convention appearances in France:

If I've missed any scrap of information anyone is aware of, please share! Even if the information isn't about Jamie or his character, I think we're all curious to know more about the project. I suspect Jamie's role is a supporting one, but I'm still very happy to be able to refer to it as Jamie Bamber's new film. :)
