And I'm not just talking about a Lee-centric BSG. ;)
I have to say Howard Webster is the coolest photographer I have ever met. OK, he may be the only one I’ve ever met, but I stand by my statement. :) As I mentioned in my previous post, I sent an e-mail to Howard in regards to his copyrighted photos appearing on the comm and when he replied back, while I didn’t expect anything bad, I certainly didn’t expect anything quite so wonderful.
To begin with, how would you all like an exclusive, limited edition copy of Factory magazine with Jamie on the cover? Factory magazine is an industry magazine and thus it's not easy to obtain a copy. However, for Jamie’s fans, if we can show enough interest, Factory Publishing could possibly do a special run of the magazine with Jamie on the cover instead of what is planned for the edition. Of course, we’d have to pay for the cost of an issue plus shipping, but I doubt anyone will have a problem with that. Howard suggested the best way to get a count to see if it's doable is to e-mail their subscription department at email@example.com. Just make sure to state in the body of the e-mail that you are interested in a Jamie Bamber edition and how many copies you would like. I know I’d order more than one. And this bit of information feel free to spread since we would need a substantial amount of people to have this done.
Howard also gave me permission to repost parts of his e-mail which contains some great comments on Jamie as well as provides a bit more information about Factory magazine and obtaining a copy of the next issue:
I appreciate it - I was actually worried that Jamie might be upset - especially as the lemon one was done for a bit of fun and not intended for public use! He was so cool that day - I had been shooting a group of up and coming actors, writers, directors etc and when Jamie turned up I asked if he would pose with them in a set. I thought a wild bunch type thing would be fun too - hence all the guns. He was lovely and said no probs - I shoot stars all the time and they aren't all that comfortable with sharing any limelight but Jamie was different - he was happy to help out and helped moving things around and getting organised etc. He even spent time talking to the actors - encouraging them and telling them his story of how he cracked Hollywood and giving them his time.
The shoot out idea became an entire set - and Jamie was very much the leader of the pack as he had massive presence and everyone liked him and respected how cool he was. It actually may even lead to getting him movies out of the Sci-Fi genre as he makes a great contemporary agent/gangster/action hero character. He'd be great opposite Daniel Craig in Bond with Colin Salmon who we are working with on a project called Jonas Moore. (Side note by me: the link to the Jonas Moore project won’t be live for 4 weeks but can be found at www.jonasmoore.com)
Everyone was so thrilled - and it has already done a lot for their careers. Two actors in the shoot to watch out for are Steve Hart (check out his My Space page) and Craig Henderson (check out his website) - Craig did the interview with Jamie which will be be going to press with in the US in ten days.
The magazine comes out in the US (and goes directly to the film industry in LA and NY and London). It will be coming off press about April 11 - and I am editing it at the moment - not one shot in the magazine isn't original. As a thank you I am sending you a taster - the inside triple page pull out of Jamie and the guys as a pdf from the upcoming mag - you can post it as long as their is a credit for me and the magazine Factory. I have a suggestion - if fans want a copy of the magazine then we may even print a special one off version with a special Jamie Bamber cover - we would have to charge as it would be printed in the US and shipped overseas - but if there was enough interest I would do it for the fans. We would need alot of fans to ask for it though as there is a minimum run on. If there were enough people I could see what we could do. If you go on Factory's website - and his subscriptions - people can ask for copies and we will see how many people would want it? You could post my suggestion on-line for fans to see. These are magazines that are not available anywhere to the public and rare.
And for your viewing pleasure with the kind permission of Howard Webster and Factory magazine is a preview of the triple page pull out that will appear in the next issue. Since I lose at finding a way to post the hi res version (probably because I only have free image hosting accounts),

I know melian_eresseie also received a copy of the photo and if she fairs better than I, I’m sure she will post a link.
Howard, since you are likely reading this, let me publicly thank you again for your understanding and generosity. It is very much appreciated by all of us.
