As asta77's comment above indicates, it's likely because ITV's airdate for Series 4 keeps changing. Not sure what their strategy is, but they usually tie the release of one series on DVD into the airdate for the new one.
well...it makes sense now that we'll get serie 4 in January/february, right before the released of the dvd...*roll eyes* since i'll be in london the week after, i'll buy it at the shop, lol
