Law & Order: UK Reminders
A reminder for fans in the United States, all new episodes assuming you've been good and know not of the internet fairies I speak of of Law & Order: UK begin airing this Wednesday at 9pm Eastern/8pm Central on BBC America. Season 3 will include all thirteen episodes of Series 5 and 6, which means a certain two-part episode will air as intended. Take that, ITV!

I'd also like to remind everyone that head writer and producer Emilio di Girolamo has kindly agreed to take our questions and you can leave your questions HERE. Given people are still discussing 'Deal', I've extended the deadline for questions until Friday. Also, I may have forgotten to mention the Q&A on Twitter when I first announced it. :/

I like the tag line of "we speak English" however to fall into line with the Bamber Broadcasting Corp. Wouldn't it be better to say "we speak Bamber" or is it just me who find that funny?

I've always complained about the fact that "We Speak English" is amusing yet short sighted considering it's hardly the only language native to BRITAIN. (Rwy'n gweld chi, Cymru!) So yes... "We Speak Bamber" would settle the problem nicely.

And anyway, "Bamber" doesn't always sound like English either, does it? ;)

I do know that "Bamber" is the last name of Jamie's mother, who is from Northern Ireland...but I'm not sure that this could help.

Heh heh. No, hon, I was goofing around with the notion of "Bamber" being a language and the fact that Jamie speaks French. (See the above clip ;) )

Question: Is Northern Ireland a part of Great Britain?

It is. Much to the dismay of some Irish, but it is.

Two things I love about this.

First: French is my first langugage too, but English has become my dominant language -- I can communicate complex concepts in English, but struggle with the lack of vocabulary to say the same thing in French. Watching anyone go through the mental gymnastics required to hear and understand one language but fall into the trap of thinking in another language before you can answer -- it is amazing. That it's Jamie, makes me want to give him big hugs.

Second thing: Just when I think, "he could not be any sexier" I see a clip of Jamie speaking French and then I think, "Yes he can!"

This was great! Thank you!

Yes. Yes, he can. And remember... no one seems to have captured him speaking Italian on tape yet. The day that happens...

oh ya... i would listen to that over and over. actually in my book italian can be a lot hotter than french. but maybe that's just me.

Most interviews he gives in French, his thoughts outstrip his ability to self-translate and he ends up back in English. Because big brain. Articulate-arse, that one. ;)
