Thanks for the news. I already read the interview earlier and I really like that description for the character. I strongly believe that Jamie can do very good things with that kind of a character. Every time that we find something new about this i'm getting even more excited.
Now, all that we need (I'm hoping for soon but not really too soon for obvious reasons) are some non-spoilery pics form the set. I'm not sure if that;s ever going to happen but you what they say - hope does last.

Yeah, unless anyone in the cast decides to tweet something, probably not likely but you never know. A lot also probably depends on how much the end up shooting on set vs. on location. I'm sure it being a medical drama, most of it will be on closed sets, but they may end up shooting downtown. (Along with everything else under the sun; I usually pass a bank of trailers at least once a week. I'll probably keep my eyes peeled a little more carefully for the next few weeks, though. ;) )
Third Street runs from downtown all the way to Beverly Hills; unless you've got a cross street, that could be virtually anywhere. ;) (Not that I have the time or the particular desire to stalk the location; if I happen across it on my way to the train station, oooh neato! but...)
Dedication to... ? I love me a slice of Bambi, don't get me wrong. And I love helping Asta dig up the news or I wouldn't be an admim. It's just not really my thing. (Would freaking love to interview Jamie one day, if the opportunity arose, and there's a fine line between him potentially knowing I'm tied to a fansite (no biggie, really) and being that one what was hanging around set for hours that one time...)
Hey, look, there's no offense intended... and let's certainly not work in absolutes. I'd argue that no one who darkens the doorways around here can exactly claim that they're incapable of squee. Everyone's manner of squee is different, though, and that's understandable. (Now I sound like an ad: "Squee - it comes in many varieties! Like butterflies. And Pocky." XD)
To be honest, I didn't think that comment was a hint. ;) I initially mentioned having passed by so many location shoots downtown mostly to indicate that yeah, that would increase our chances of some pics! - but it would be because they happened to be photographed by whoever was around. ;) The paps still don't really congregate on this end of town like they do at all the celeb haunts, but enough production goes on here that they're around. ('course, a TNT pilot is probably going to generate less interest than, say, if Angelina Jolie was filming a movie or something. But stranger things have happened.)
Other thing is, I have no frame of reference for what's in the script so for all I know they won't need many city street locations. If they are looking for fake suburban Michigan, they're not gonna find it 'round these parts!
But would they even try for winter? I could see them faking that on a studio backlot, not downtown, IF they even attempted it. Certain things you just can't do. (Unless you resort to really bad CGI like they did on Ringer last night. LOL)

I'm really glad to to hear it. i found out lately that sometimes when I'm very tired I express things in a way that can be interpreted and I wanted to clarify things if this was one of those occasions.
On another note (which is sort of OT) this discussion about locations and different cities and stuff is very good for my general knowledge on geography. Better than some of my high-school classes. So,that's a plus.
