Body of Proof: "Megan in Love: Behind the Scenes"
Thanks to an eagle eyed fan on Twitter (If you're reading this, again, THANK YOU!), we have some AWESOME behind the scenes footage of Jamie (and Dana) discussing the Megan/Aiden relationship and it's evolution. There may also be some additional footage of Jamie half dressed. ;)

But the really interesting news is executive producer Sunil Nayar discusses the Megan/Aiden relationship in Season 3 and that there is "much, much more ground to be explored". So, it would seem they have a plan to have Jamie back, though, again, probably dependent on his availability.

For the folks outside the U.S., sorry, this likely won't play for you. :( But if I find another source, I will definitely link to it!

ETA: If you live in Canada, you can view the video HERE at ABC.com. Thanks, Jennifer, for the tip! :)

For sure. Not impossible, if the show does get renewed, I'd imagine a network show vs. a cable show might allow for less overlap on production schedules, depending on when TNT has Chelsea Gen set to debut.

In less thoughtful discourse, that checked shirt is constructed of 100% weapons-grade UNF.

His voice and natural accent, it's like velvet. (Fans self)

It would be a dream to have Jamie on more than one series at a time. I know it's been done before, I can't remember by who though. Or maybe recalling that shirtless scene has me too preoccupied.

Thank you for this!!!

Oh, it's definitely been done. I'll give you an example right in the immediate ballpark. though - Jeri Ryan! She's been a regular on BoP and yet she still turns up as Tara on Leverage from time to time. Thing is, Tara is a hired gun who can come and go fairly easily on that show; dramaturgca and I were discussing exactly this earlier, it's harder to keep doing that if the BoP writers want us to believe that Aiden is a regular part of Megan's life. Though I suppose they could bring him back for another limited arc.

I'm in Canada and can't see the Hulu link but for some reason I can see the "behind the scenes" bits directly on the ABC site (which I shouldn't be able to, but hey, no complaints!.

Here's the link: http://abc.go.com/shows/body-of-proof/index

Enjoy!

Thanks! I originally had the ABC link posted, but Hulu tends to have better resolution/less problems. I know "Body of Proof" airs at the same time in Canada. Maybe because of that ABC allows Canadians to view content on their site. At least some additional fans can see it. :)

Ahh shame I can't watch the video!!! Totally discriminating against us Europeans ;)

Good to know they liked him (how could you not!), but tvbythenumbers rated BoP as 'certain to be cancelled', so I guess it's chances aren't looking too good. And as much as I love Dana I find her character rather irritating. Much more looking forward to Chelsea General!

"Body of Proof" is very much a bubble show. It's numbers are not particularly good. However, I know those involved in making the show have made a lot of plans for season 3 (which I think is a tiny bit unusual for a show that's struggled in the ratings for so long) and those plans have been pitched to ABC. Also, these days, more than just ratings go into determining whether a show gets another season.

As for TvBytheNumbers, I follow that site closely as well, but it also tends to get on my nerves with their declarations of 'Sure to be Canceled'. They've been doom and gloom on the chances for renewal for the "The Good Wife" for months and it was renewed for a forth season yesterday. Of course, instead of admitting they were wrong, they spun the news as it was only saved because of the episodes needed for syndication.

I find Megan irritating at times too. I applauded the nurse who told her she doesn't give her orders and to sit down. I understood Megan was a scared mom at that moment, but she had no right to treat the nurse as she did. I also hate her 'Know it All' attitude and joy at making people look dumb. She really needs Aiden to bring her down to earth. I loved hoe he knew what was wrong with Lacey before the doctor finished his diagnosis.

If the clip pops up on YouTube, I'll be sure to update the post. :)

To be honest I don't really care that much if it gets renewed or not (except obviously for the people working on it and the actors' sake I hope it does), but it's good news that they liked Jamie either way, because they might remember him when they're working on something new. (And I agree about tvbythenumbers, they've got a weird tone to their posts)

Fingers crosses for a youtube version soon! thanks for keeping us posted!

ABC has a YouTube channel and has posted the clip: http://youtu.be/F17hdCAtg6I

Let me know if it works. If so, I'll spread the word. ;)

I'm afraid that's country coded too. Won't work for me, but thanks for looking!

ohh I forgot to add I totally agree re: Megan and the nurse and I kinda love that they had the nurse talk back to her. Unfortunately while Jamie was great as Aiden, I found Megan even more irritating with him than at work. I get that she hasn't dated for a while, but they had her act like a clumsy little girl. It seemed like a stereotype from a romantic comedy that didn't fit Dana Delany at all.
