Way to put me on the spot, missy! Especially because I'm still not sure I want to post the pic publically.

Ahhhhh! There will be no posting of personal photos! Considering it took two days to work up the courage to have a picture with him taken, I',m definitely not brave enough to share publicly. Besides, I'm quite OK with people thinking I look like a cute, wire-haired terrier. And we are about the same height. ;p

I wish I had a shot of Jamie's 'Please don't tell me you want a photo' face. It was priceless. :) Of course, I burst out laughing and threw you under the bus ("Well, I don't. But she does!" ;)

I have to say, I was really impressed, given the hectic schedule for the guests and catching up with their friends at night, how available the entire BSG cast was to their fans (we were at the WoF first thing Saturday and Sunday and they were all there, smiling and chatty) and were all on fire at all four panels they participated in.

And fair enough because I did feel pretty sheepish about the whole thing! Not that Jamie shouldn't have been prepared for a pic no matter who it was (They were still on the "menu" right there under autographs ;) ), BUT, it was the timing of it. Right after the rubbing his eyes/running a hand through his hair "Christ, I've got to wake up" thing and then... shit. Now? LOL

how available the entire BSG cast was to their fans (we were at the WoF first thing Saturday and Sunday and they were all there, smiling and chatty)

I actually had trouble catching a couple of other people I wanted to talk to because they weren't at their tables or by the time they were and I wasn't doing something else and could check, there was a huge line. There were never any massive lines to talk to the BSG gang and I really think that's less an issue of popularity (several of my friends who were also there had one or more of them on their "must meet" list) as it is because they made themselves available enough to give everyone a chance to talk to them when they weren't at a panel, a photo op or on their own personal time. BEST CAST IS STILL BEST CAST. <3 (It definitely helped in my case to lean toward asking for that photo re-take after all; I'm eternally self-conscious about monopolizing someone's time when there are other fans who want a moment as well.)

That reminds me! There was that cute moment on Friday (I think) where the woman next to us pointed out that under his list of credits (BSG, LOUK, soon to be seen in 'Monday Mornings')'Hornblower' wasn't listed. Which led Jamie to pick up the sign and a black pen and commence adding 'Hornblower' as well as 'Band of Brothers' and 'Daniel Deronda'. I think we were momentarily "WTF?" when he added 'Daniel Deronds' until you remembered Tom Hooper was the director.

Me too. And, unless I'm going to be super brief, I really hate going up to anybody's table to just chat. I always feel like I should be paying for their time if I'm going to ramble on. ;p And I definitely was more chatty because there were never more than a few people in line behind us. I got the same impression with James, Michael and Richard (who were seated by Jamie) that they felt they could talk more with people since they didn't have a huge group waiting for them. Honestly, I only recall a few really big lines - for The Guild group, RDA and Gillian Anderson. John Barrowman's line wasn't short, but not long either. Even the 'True Blood' folks had very short or no lines, which rather shocked me.

Yeah, The Guild line was always understandably long because it was ALL of them. And Nichelle Nichols' line was quite long that Sunday; though I really wanted to introduce myself related to a promo we're doing at work, had I waited in that line I wouldn't have been able to get where we needed to be for the Firefly panel. :/
