	Jamie Bamber is Now on Twitter! Yes, You Read That Right!
	Kerry revealed the other night that Jamie was considering joining the dark side and then this happened a short while ago: I'd be lying if I said I thought this would never happen, but I thought I would have a few more years before sharing this news. ;) So, if you are on Twitter (like Jamie!!!), go forth and follow him @ImJamieBamber. If you aren't on Twitter, be sure to bookmark his page. If Jamie makes any big announcements, we will be sure to post them here, but we won't be reposting everything. KIDDING! Kinda, heh. I too thought it would take longer, if it happened at all. He didn't even crack a year since he shrugged it off when we asked about it (and plenty of others have asked since). Now let's see if someone explains to him how to get verified! (Kerry isn't yet, but maybe she doesn't feel she needs to be; Anastasia is, maybe sis can help ;) )

And let's be honest, it should be rather entertaining to watch Wordy McEloquentpants maneuver that impressive vocabulary into 140 characters on a semi-regular basis. I'm making popcorn, who wants some?!

When I saw Kerry's tweet this morning my first reaction was to look out the window for flying pigs. And when I saw Kerry's RT tonight.....

And, yeah, I'm really looking forward to seeing how Jamie uses Twitter. :)

I noticed that before I finally went to bed last night. It probably helped we already had the @ImKerryNorton seal of approval. :) He and Kerry have commented, in the past, that he has, on occasion, found out things from us. Now, we just need to be *really* on top of things!

I for one, if he could master the brevity, would love to see what kind of portmanteaus he can come up with to get his point across.

And then I'll use them with impunity and trademark them as Bamberisms. We are a rich fandom.

I'm notluvulongtime on Twitter by the way. I followed you guys a ways back. So yeah, it was fun to see it all happen tonight. Everyone was awesome! I hope people will continue to be good to him on there :)

ETA: And if he could ever work with Rupert Graves again, I would be so happy, but that's here nor there. :)))

Am I the only person who uses the same name EVERYWHERE??? ;) Thanks for letting us know! Yeah, it was quiet entertaining last night. I'm very sleep deprived this morning. ;p Given he was already promoting Monday Mornings, I expect to see a lot of activity from him on Mondays. He also reminded me I need to post about ratings. Up 17% this week!

No, you are not. I know a number of people how do the same. And personally I at least try to do it (it was impossible on twitter but I kept it pretty close :D )

He also reminded me I need to post about ratings. Up 17% this week!

Thanks for the news. I missed the last 2 episodes due to RL craziness but this makes me want to watch them even more :)

Oh, I'm sure there will be incidents of cringe; it is Twitter, after all. ;) But yes, so far so good and I'm sure given his friends who have been on it for some time, he's been briefed on what to expect!

After the day that I had yesterday this news made my week.

I had my doubts about if and when this will happen but it's a good thing that it did now.

As most of you I'm very curious about how he will adapt to the strange world that twitter is.

Really intrigued about this uk show, some really good productions coming out of england lately. I hope he gets to do it! Maybe he's trying to appease TNT with this twitter move, so that they'll be more accommodating...

A few tweets made it clear he knows the ratings for MM need to be better for a second season to happen and he genuinely thinks his joining in to promote the show (Jen and Sarayu have been doing an awesome job of that) could help. Ideally, I think he wants to be doing both a second season of MM and this Kudos show. My assumption is they will have different shooting schedules so it would be doable. And more Bamber for us! ;)

The more the better! But should MM be cancelled I'm still hoping he might be able to join a new show in the US as well. Although I guess that's too optimistic.

on a sidenote: his twitter profile pics are distractingly hot, good choice there!

The photo he's using as an icon was on the banner at his table at Dragon*Con. We told him what an great photo we thought it was (and were hoping he had copies to sign, but no such luck). It was taken either by the Director of Photography or an assistant on MM. It's a bit of a blur now. ;)

I'm pretty sure he said it was the DP. Also recall him saying he didn't have any to be signed because Erin Gray told him black and white headshots don't sell. (Bah, Wilma, bah I tell you! Some of us like moody mugshots. ;) He should bring a half dozen as a test next time and see what happens.)

My assumption is they will have different shooting schedules so it would be doable.

I figured the same; seems likely the way Kerry described getting a trip back home that maybe it would be in summer, when the kids aren't in school? MM shot in the fall last year, so if it gets renewed will probably stick to a similar schedule.
