In addition to signing autographs on Saturday at Comic Con from 11am to 1pm, I've been told that Jamie is scheduled to do meet with the press at around 10am that day. So be on the lookout for interviews. G4 TV may have something. They extensively cover Comic Con on TV and the internet.
I've had a few people ask me if I've heard anything about Jamie's upcoming convention appearances. I doubt until he finds out what the production schedule is for Law & Order: London he'll be able to make any definite plans, but I managed to catch his publicist before and after he spoke with Jamie and Jamie informed him that Dragon Con seemed dicey in terms of his availability. The same might be true for the Fan Expo in Toronto, but I had only mentioned DC. Given his recent efforts to make con appearances, I'm sure he'll do whatever he can to be in Toronto and Atlanta, but I thought I'd just pass along what I heard.
NBC Universal Television will be auctioning off 'Battlestar Galactica' memorabilia.
More than 3,000 props, costumes, memorabilia and other items from SCI FI Channel's original series Battlestar Galactica will be auctioned off as the fourth and final season draws to a close.
The auction, sponsored by NBC Universal Television, DVD, Music and Consumer Products Group and Propworx, will include such items as the uniform worn by Adm. William Adama (Edward James Olmos) and a life-sized Cylon Centurion costume.
NBC Universal and Propworx will conduct two live auctions in Los Angeles, along with a series of Internet auctions coinciding with the airing of the show's final 10 episodes, which starts in early 2009.
Items that will be available to purchase include the flight suits worn by Starbuck (Katee Sackhoff) and Apollo (Jamie Bamber), several life-sized Vipers and Raptors and Cylon Raiders and pieces of the Combat Information Center (CIC).
Hmmm, I seem to recall Jamie stating he swiped his flight suit last year. ;)
